As per the latest news, Prashant Kishor (the strategist of UPA) was on 2 days of assam visit to form Anti-NDA alliance in Assam (just like Bihar Style). The formula of Mahagathbandhan is already successful in Bihar when Congress-JUD-RJD formed alliance in bihar election, BJP lost bihar election very badly.

Prashant Kishor-Nitish Kumar Trying Hard to Form Mahagathbandhan in Assam

We had already cracked story of Mahagathbandhan in Assam with Nitish Kumar's talks with Assam CM, All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) and Asom Gana Parishad (AGP). As per sources, Nitish kumar and All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin Ajmal had long talks about Assam alliance.  Also, Prashant Kishor also in talks with AGP.

And as per our sources, Asom Gana Parishad and Congress all set to form pre-poll alliance in Assam. The official announcement will be made just after Rahul Gandhi came from Europe trip. Even AGP-congress has done on seat sharing formula too. It is also notable that BJP and Bodoland people's front alliance to be announced on 19th January, 2016 when PM modi to visit Assam on this date, and will officially start campaign for Assam Assembly Election 2016 for BJP.

Rajya sabha MP and JDU leader K C Tyagi confirmed this news about congress and AGP alliance and also talks going on for alliance between AIUDF and Congress too.

While BJP just have 5 MLAs in Assam Assembly was sudden a big party after they won 7 seats in Loksabha election. It is gonna be tough fight for Congress CM Tarun Gogoi who is facing 15 years of anti-incumbency.
